Guaging Interest: Midwest 4Runner Jambo:Badlands

Calling Midwest guys.

Anyone interested in helping me organize a Midwest 4Runner Jambo for this fall at the Badlands? Maybe a Halloween Run?

Just seeing what the interest is if any...Sound off

I'm not sure what you'll need to help organize, but you can most likely count me and possibly the Chicago crew on being there for something like this.

Don't mean to highjack your thread, but I'm headed out to the custer state park area (near the badlands I'm told) September 2 - 5 and am looking for some decent trails to try out. Any suggestions? Everytime I try to look up trails near the badlands I keep getting some trail out in CA. If the jambo was around that time I'd be up for joining in. I'm missing out on CO4RJ for the first time in three years so I'll need a fix.

If I'm thinking of the same Custer State Park, isn't that in South Dakota? The Badland is in Attica Indiana http://www.badlandsoffroad.com/

COCajun,

I saw the badlands thing the last time they were talking about a run there last May. Got me all worked up for nothing.

I too am interested in the Custer Parks area.

Maybe we should start our own planning forces....

Wow, I really missed the replies to this. Not sure what the heck happened.

Okay, cool! Lets get a run organized for this August? Halloween would be cool too.

I'll organize it...no worries.

Farmerj/ 92 4 Runner, Yeah, I'm talkin bout the North Dakota Area, (rest of the family wants to see the big heads) hadn't heard about the attica Badlands (looks like a nice buggy park, probably little too intense for my tyipical drivin), only seen some trail named "the badlands" out in california somewhere (I think I got there through 4x4wire, not sure though). My confusion (and now "official" hijacking of this thread, sorry 82trekker!) only seems to point out how tough it is to find trails outside of one's home turf. Farmerj, if you know the trails out there I'd be happy to meet up (might be prudent to start a new thread), but not sure if organizing a jambo would be good since I'll probably only have one good day for wheeling. I'll throw a new tread out out and see what bites. Thanks midwesters, sorry again.
