Where are other mild runs? Those interest me the most at the moment,I just want to get the truck a little dirty.

The trail out of Central City that goes over to Yankee Hill/Alice/Idaho Springs is fun in the snow. Usually you can't make it all the way in the snow, but it's really pretty, and fun as far as you can go. (Make sure you bring a shovel and gloves whereever you go.)

If you guys do go to Salughterhouse, be careful. There are some off-cambre things on the left-hand side of the loop (south side?) that I don't recommend when slick.

The trail I was thinking of in the Tarryalls is China Wall, which is between Woodland Park and Jefferson, near the town of Tarryall.

Here's the report on 4x4trails.net. There's been some discussion about the trail on its forum recently. It's rated a 5 or a 7 with bypasses on most optional stuff.

Traildamage.com also has a report with some pics, but the girl's site is down at the moment. I'm guessing it will be a little better than the one on 4x4Trails.net.

Not sure if you or anyone else would prefer something closer or not. I guess X-AWD prefers something a little easier anyway, in which case, I have no ideas other than what Mike posted.

Edit: Okay, here's the link for China Wall on TrailDamage. I just went through all those pictures. That looks pretty neat. I may try this on Monday anyway, if not tomorrow.

thanks alot fellas! Looking foward to wheelin with everyone! I was so psyched when I discovered Yotatech because most of my friends are lame or drive P.O.S.'s!

Darren (and anyone else) why don't we meet at 10:30 at the conifer safeway in the lot closest to 285 side...if you think china wall (or somewhere else even) would be better maybe we should leave earlier?

You'll be happy to know that all of the 4Runner locals are really a great bunch to hang out and wheel with, and are far from lame!

I sent you an email and sent you a PM if you haven't checked them yet.

The meeting time and place for tomorrow works fine.

Sorry I can't make it, but I'm doing wife maintenance stuff with the little woman tomorrow. Will try to make it for one with XAWD-Driver and Darren for a more mild run. Have fun and get some good pics!

Much as I'd like to, I can't make it tomorrow either. But, if there is a run on Monday, count me in.

By the way, I have samples of the new 4ROC decals if you'd like to see them. I'll bring them if we meet up.

Yeah, guys. I think Paul (Dozer) decided on China Wall tomorrow, so I think we're gonna do that one. It really looks pretty fun and certainly more scenic than bland Slaughterhouse. I'm looking forward to it. We'll see what we think tomorrow when we get back and I may very well want to do that one again. Stockers should be fine as there's bypasses on all but one place.

Well, it's getting close to night-night time.

Later!

Just saw the late weather on Fox31, they're predicting awesome weather for tomorrow but snow for Monday. Might have to hold off on the Monday wheeling for a week.

We'll see what happens with the weather!
China wall was fun, as was the slaughterhouse night run. The two together made for a full day! Finally got to ruin my $100.00 powder coat on my sliderz

My schedule is pretty flexible if i have a couple days notice. Let us know if anyone has any ideas for the next couple weeks.
