Colorado Father's day run
I don't know if there are any other Colorado readers on board here but if there are I am inviting you to run Spring Creek trail near Idaho Springs Sunday. This is going to be a mixed bag of ODW readers and members of Rising Sun, the Denver chapter of TLCA.
We are meeting at the McDonalds near the El Rancho Exit 252 off of I-70 at 9 am.
This trail is said to be BURLY. One boulder field has 3 foot tall rocks on a steep incline. There is a bypass where the rocks are only 2 feet tall. Lift, locker, and wheel travel mods are needed to make it through. Last time this group went there were 10 Toyotas with 5 winches. If you don't have these mods we will find a way to get you through. There is a likelyhood of big underside dammage, i.e. bent driveshafts. This is not for newbies, however... There will be several open seats if you would rather ride along to watch and learn.
