how about this coming weekend( nov. 6, sunday) ??? i was thinking about doing eagle rock or sran wrap? this would be a good chance to sneek in some last mininte wheeling before the snow flies. im open to others that arnt too challanging. i,ve got a locker but no skid plates or sliders. let me know. ill try and get some people from www.colorado4x4.org to come also, but they are mostly jeep guys and ide rather wheel with my own kind.

summit county is about 2.5 hours away from the springs. im open to when we meet, preferably in the morning sometime around 9 30 ish. the later we go the more of a chance we'll run into bad weather.
here is some more pics of the trail, back when i had open diffs i had to be winched up one part. http://users.adelphia.net/~trixyscj5/eaglerock.htm

hey just saw the replies :o
i'm not sure if this sunday will work for me.
i'm stock with the rr locker.... so until i get some sliders on, i don't think this trail looks too friendly for me. i'd rather not have to do some bodywork yet
I'll be in parker this weekend, but i have no problem driving back...

ok maybe we wont go. we just got a suprise snow storm thats pretty small down here but im guessing its pretty good sized higher up in elevation. but ill go part way up and check it out. i am not too fond of triing that trail witha foot of snow on the ground.

ok we are going to go ahead and go and see how the snow is. i dont want to do eagle rock if theres a foot of snow. im not feeling the body damage. so if there is a bunch of snow we'll just hit some other trails. so are any of you guys coming? Ric you better come. you have my favorate runner

well co4x4 is down for upgrades...
so i take it you're going to go up there anyways?
would it be just you and I, or are more going? if we hit up light trails, i'm not going to pull the running boards now...
thanks!

well it all depends on the amount of snow thats up there. if thre is a little snow then ide like to do eagle rock. but if there is a lot then i just want to hit some of the easier ones. i dont want to use the brail method of 4 wheeling if rocks are buried under a foot of snow. it is totally up to you if you want to remove the running boards. if we end up doing a trail that you think would endanger your body then ide be more then happy to turn around and play on some other trails. as of now it just looks liek you and me and my friend mike with a lifted cherokee with balding tires and no lockers. ill check the colorado4x4 forum and see if anyone has showed any interest.

alright, took 10min and removed my runningboards...
if there's heavy snow, my gear's in storage... so if your friend gets stuck... i'm not wading over in the powder to get him (kidding, just saying my liners and boots are in storage :p )
my cell is 7194326044. I'll be at homedepot at 9:30am (ouch... am! lol)
i'm the green 3rd gen if you didn't know...
