I would assume that's when most of the erosion takes place - spring runnoff so maybe that's why they are closed more into the spring than winter. Just a thought.

Carnage Sat. April 8

Me and a buddy will be taking his built, early Blazer on its maiden voyage. He want's to get it on the trail before he leaves for Moab next week. I know this is a Toy thread but I am looking for some serious wheelers. I was trying to get Shawn Jackson to come with us, but he has other things going on. He did mention that some of you guy's will be up their on Sat. We will be coming from Fort Collins with a couple other rigs and are planning to meet at the trailhead around noon on Sat. Anyone interested? Post to the thread in the "Plan a trail run" section of ttora.com (Colorado Chapter).

Okay, the reason for the final change is that there is going to be WAAAY too much snow on Spring Creek...Sorry for all the confusion, but we aren't going to get anywhere up that road, its too north facing.

Sorry man, but with the way things are looking up there, we'd maybe get up to the second obstacle, and get turned around, and thats alot of drive for not much trail...carnage will be muddy, but we've had the last 3 or 4 days above 70 degrees, should be a ton less ice up there, and i want to get on some hard stuff.

As soon as spring creek clears enough, we'll go up there.

Sorry again for all the confusion

So I just want to make sure this is finalized. I'm pretty sure I'll be there but I'll prolly just go to the trail head instead of starbucks.
