Closest off-roading to New Orleans

Now that I'm home from college at Denver for the summer, I need to find a place to off-road. I'm looking for anywhere around New Orleans, but could include somewhere in Mississippi. I used to go to Bonnet Carrie Spillway OHV park, but I heard its closed now. Any ideas?

Gardendale, AL

Tellico or Windrock in Tennessee

There is a park in Mississippi, but I'll have to find the website.

Try the Texas guys, I believe they had a ride not too long ago. Do a search, it should show up.

The Spillway...but its mainly bronco's and big mud trucks.

Kisatchie has an ORV area but I dont know if it is just for ATVs or what...worth a call though. Could be a good place to learn: http://www.southernregion.fs.fed.us/kisatchie/

The one in Mississippi is Red Creek Off Road (www.redcreekoffroad.com). I haven't been there, but my neighbor said it's really nice. I for both atv's and 4X4's.
