Campgrounds @ Tellico?

I hate that i missed out on all the fun at the SE4RJ. But me and my buddies are plannin our own tellico adventure sometime late in June. We need to know of a good(cheap) campsite near the trails. We know absolutely nothing about the area cept the fact that we cant wait to go wheelin down there. So rates and phone numbers would help. We just need a place to set up some tents, park our trucks, and feel safe.

Crawford's Campground is the place you want. Very nice and close by. They have nice cabins and power/water campsites with even gas and a shop on site. Mud pit and a rock garden too.

Have fun and take pics!

One more thing to add-Crawfords has really nice private bathrooms, a rock garden, mud pit, and logpile to try out at the camp. It is a 20 min ride to the trails, but worth it, there may be a few spots closer-but they are primitive sites-check out the Nantahala National forest for those-they may also be some nearby in Tennessee (Tellico is on the state line) in the Cherokee National Forest.

Bathrooms!!! Really nice bathrooms!!!

That has sold me on ever staying anywhere else on return visits. They were incredibly clean, and really made cleaning up a joy.
