Bump!

If ya can get back on the group camp idea, it would be nice so I can rsvp the place and post up the camp site location

Also this will help me figure out who's going for sure and who's not.

Thanks!

Lance, don't forget me! I have to go out to Arizona for family stuff so this might be a good start to my road trip. It'll be good mountain biking if anyone is into it. I'm bringing my road and xc bikes for Arizona so I'll have both if anyone is into that.

So put me down as tentative for the trip. Bud's BBQ might bring the coyotes down!

I am planning to do some DownHilling at Snow Summit. But I may just bring my trail bike.

Well, if all goes according to plan, (meaning I get my locker installed by the end of next week), I'll be there. Again, just for Saturday though.

Victor, Pretacopower is 2wd so you should be fine. We're going to have 2 groups going up (crazy and normal) so it should be fun for everyone

Even the normal trails might encounter some little rock crawling so it'll be fun regardless. I'm going to try to make the easy trails hard enough but fun for everyone to enjoy. I figure none of ya want to encounter any body damage (nor do I) so I'll have to find trails that'll be friendly yet challenging (I have a few in mind already).

I'll prob go up this weekend (sun) and just do a quick trail run on the easy stuff to make sure in person. Most of it will probably be fire roads since it'll be more discovery stuff rather than hardcore stuff.

Lance the Goldcoast cruisers will be up there all this weekend, I'd go but I'll be heading up to NorCal to pick-up some parts....

Of course you can count me in for the camp also! Has a start time on Sat morn. been mentioned? I'll be driving up that morning, just need to know how early.
Lance and Bruce: I wanted to do the harder trails up there, has anyone else said they wanted to go with or will it just be 3? Lance, are you gonna lead the other run, and not go with us?

Bruce, Anthony told me to watch the Gold Coast Forum and he told me about this weekend. Unfortunately I have some things to do on saturday so I don't think I can do it

Victor, I have an extra Adventure Pass so don't worry, I got ya covered

Rob, I haven't figured out who's running the other easier run yet. It will all depend on who shows up and then I'll figure out on the last minute trails at that point. Bruce will definitely run the harder trails for us. I've already made some trail maps for him to do and I'm pretty certain he'll love em

Rob, will you be camping out w/ us saturday night? Who else is coming from SD? I will setup the rsvp for the camp tommorrow morning and confirm it w/ you guys. Figure we can start at around 9-10am.

coo?

Hey guys...
Im 90% sure I'll make this one. I was planning on going to Vegas that weekend, but rolling with you guys is definately #1 priorty. (Ill be going to Vegas in Feb for the SHOT show anyway )
The only thing Im worried about are the difficulty of the trails since I have neglected to aquire sliders. Ill try my best to get some installed by then, but its going to be close. What do you guys think? Are the easy trails too easy, and the hard trails too hard w/o sliders. From what Ive seen from pics it looks like some of those boulders could do some damage.

Im still waiting for the cable company to send me the frekin modem for my new appartment. If there are any changes or updates please give me a call.

Josh

Count me in, i think my truck should be done. I can only be there by saturday evening but I will stay over till sunday. I figure the point of going is to camp in a group so that is the only option for me.

So what are we looking at for total cost? 20 or so for the campsite and maybe another 20 for the adventure pass?

Should be fun. Someone's gotta represent the 1st gens -Seth

The adventure pass will be required if you part outside of the campsite. Since the group campsite is limited to 8 vehicles, any vehicles that show up late will have to park their vehicle outside of the camp area (the area is relatively small to begin with).

If I get there early enough and can camp onsite, I'll give up my pass so someone can park on the side of the campsite (no prob). I'm sure we'll all be able to work something out.

The rsvp is 160 for both nights. So whoever joins us can pitch in that'd be great
