You know 4rnr, You are going to laugh but I will have to bring some pics of my wifes liberty at the cliffs. It did real well but after the second tree we slid into my wife had enough. I love the cliffs but my toy is a xtracab pickup and the cliffs is to tight.
but I do have a lift and 33's, a locker in the back and quick discos.
I am pretty ok going just about anywhere at the badlands.
I also have an 86 cherokee that has done every trail there except out of the tunnel and into the pond. Something about nosediving a carbed heep scares me.
what trails at the cliffs have you done? I would like to know if your bumpers and protection helped out. That place has more places to trash a vehicle!!!
Oh well ...Jay...

I usually do the outer loop at the cliffs and then I do 3 up the river. usually I am on 1,2,and 3 I think. There isnt words to describe what my armor has done for protection. Before I was really carefull to avoid carnage, and I would still get torn apart there. Now I look for trouble and smack trees, and I havent gotten a scratch. Those things take massive hits. Bassically when I hit something the truck moves way before the armor does.
BTW from what i can see if you want some carnage the Cliffs seems to be the place to go around here.
If you guys are interested in what we are driving, check out this thread it will be at least the first four trucks, but my red runner will have 33" TSL's, and teh grey runner will have 32" bfg muds

HAHA, you don't know how many pictures I"ve seen and stories I've heard of people hydrolocking there. Some just don't know the big drop coming out of the Pipe drain.

Yup we had a guy in our group hydrolock diving down into that pit after the tunnel once. Right at the same time Shazad hydrolocked himself.

yea the cliffs is insane!!! I went with a local group that had never been there and I took them down #9. Its called carnage trail for a reson, and they meen it. I am lloking for a front bumper to put my winch on but 400 plus dollars seems undoable rite now. I will have straps a nd my hilift. So we should be allright.

Carnage is right! Last two times I've been out there the Cliffs has left souvenirs on my Runner! Not to mention some dude on an ATV shattered his leg. The good thing is that a few rigs from our group helped out with the evacuation so we ended up getting free passes.

I was hoping that no one would say that.

"It's trail rated" ha. Yea after you J E E P. Just Empty Every Pocket. That liberty has a 2.5" lift and 31" mtr's and rockrails. It does pretty well. We got it because of the price. New it cost $18,000, where every other suv dosent even start out under $25,000. power everything and a 210 h.p. v6. I couldnt beat it.
But and this is a big but, My next rig is going to be a Fj.

If you are interested in cruisers, then you and Todd will have a lot to talk about at the badlands, he has an 80, 60, and two 40's. One of the 40's is going to be on 37's it has a 350 and a turbo 400 and it is almost all custom. The other 40 is going to be a buggy.

Yeah todds a mad scientist. today we went to his shop to mount my tires and he was getting the rust off of his new FJ40. But he had made himself a kind of acid bath out of sodium flouride (I think) a 50 gal. garbage can, a battery charger, and a garbage bag. I worked great for his drive shafts and axle housing.
