Awesome cliffs trip
On April 10th me my buddies in their FJ80's and Ricky aka 924runnersr5. Went to the cliffs insane terrain orp, in Marseilles IL. We have been there many times, But Todd (FJ80) is an auto shop teacher and he brought a bunch of his students who havent wheeled before.
We had, in addition to us, a stock runner, bronco, tj and a yj. We had some great action with the newbs. They did pretty good, some better than others, but we still had some good carnage. Enjoy....
Heres the veterans: My red runner, Bry's grey cruiser, Todds white cruiser, Rickys grey runner...
Heres the students...
Heres some good action shots, No I didnt role and I wasnt stuck...
I sould have more when I get the other guys' footage.

I like the swim, ing shots..nice snorkel and armor on the burgandy runner
I was in the goop Sunday as well..now trying to invent a self cleaning device...
still clearing chinks from underneath. Had to pull over on the way to work yesterday and pull the rocks out from the rear rims that were wedged btween the brake drum!

Heres some more....
This is my girlfriends dad and he was the hero of the day he dove into all the mud and hooked up straps, and it was his first time even seeing this
This guy wasnt with us. When Todd told him not to get any of his jeep parts alover his toyota while todd was pulling him, it really pissed his whole family off
Heres ricky pushing his truck, giving even me new found respect for lightly moded runners
all that pushing took its toll...
big ruts!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every one drenches their dynaudio's in mud right
narrow. the right pass claimed a windshield, apilar, and a roof (other group of jeeps) The left pass claimed some quarters, fenders, on other trucks, and some paint off my armor
some more of me...

hmmm. it looks like he cliffs, Ive heard its easier than the cliffs. I beleive it the trail rating system they have is getting kinda funny. The begginer trail is getting kinda insane due to ruts from 38's, off camber!! more carnage.

Like the cliffs, it can be hard or easy. Most of the trails at Rockport are wider and a lot of the ravines are shallower and not as steep. It is a larger park, but a lot of it you have to be invited or led by an employee to run it, and there is a lot of empty space there. It is a nice park, i havent really been on any of the easier stuff there, as i have yet to wheel there in my own rig. There are pic's of it in my webshots album in my sig, both in the LOL adventure and again for the Top Shop Challenge. They have a nice rock course there as well.

Regular acreage is 700, and this area is 900.
