Okay, so this isn't an off road trip, but I've been thinking this might be a good start.

Anyone interested in a "meet'n'greet"?

I was thinking those that are interested could get together somewhere either after work or on the weekend, have a bite to eat and a beer . I know it might be difficult to coordinate everyone, but it'd be nice to meet all ya'll.

I could be up for that. When? If it's during the week, count me out. My work hours bite, so I'm not off until 9PM. Just find out when, and I'll see if I can't make it.

Actually... I'd be interested in setting up some kind of YT AZ trail run in the future.

Even if the little .5 guy shows up. I'm sure I'd get used to him.

Aside from 4 Peaks, anyone want to plan a meet @ the Pavillions (Pima & Indian Bend) some Saturday afternoon/ early evening?

Put me down for trails that don't require Lockers / Lower Gears / Winches. I haven't gotten that far on the project yet!

How about a Crown King run? (Or has that been done already!?)

I don't care if it has been done. I've only done it once, in my lifted Durango, and I dang near lost the gas tank!

I'm getting my lift this week, and I really would like to do Crown King again. I thought it was long, but lots of fun. It's been a couple years since I've done it too.

And I'm up for meeting, no problems there. But Pima and Indian Bend? You said you live in N Phoenix, that doesn't seem very N to me. I live in N Phoenix, I-17 and Happy Valley. Now that, is N Phoenix.

 

I live up @ Cave Creek & 101! We should get together! The Pavillions has a weekly car show on Saturday nights. I have seen some Yota's up there pretty frequently! The drive is about 15 minutes from my place - just take the 101 around!

We are damn near neighbors Weiln! I think a CK run is definately in order. We need ot set a time. My wife normally works Saturdays so I would request two weeks notice so she can request it off!

Yeah, I'll definitely let you know. I work every other Saturday, so I'll let you know when I'm looking at going.

 

John, come on by if you can make it. I'm definitely up for crown king run. Just got a new trails book, "Backcountry Adventures Arizona", 500+ pages of trails with color maps and gps coordinates. I can bring it to 4 Peaks if anyone's interested.

Nathan, what type of lift are you goin' with?

Well I think a June weekend would be a good choice for a CK run. I think that would give people enough time to plan and get work off if they need to.

Personally, I would like to see about getting a monthly run together with all the AZ Folk. One time CK, then perhaps Bull Dog Canyon, maybe also head up to 4 Peaks mountain. How about Sycamore? There's just so many places to do - I think it would be way cool to do a Saturday run one time, then a Sunday run the next time. That way people don't exhaust their PTO.

I dunno about Tuesday. Weekdays are always rough for me as I am sure with most who have kids. Working in Central Phoenix and living in North Phoenix means I have to get the kids from school by 6pm. How about a lunch sometime?
