Any Oregon offroaders?

Total newb here...I have an '81 4x4 but only very light offroad exp. Hoping to find some easy trails to take my son on, but would definitely like to NOT go alone, any interested parties? Was originally thinking tomorrow, but I know that's VERY soon. The closer in to pdx the better...saw mention of browns camp?
I've hunted down near willamina/bible creek, very light mud roads up that way.

Hello everyone. My friend from the Rover club and our wives are planning a 4 day trip to Eastern Oregon over Memorial Weekend. The plan is to do scouting for the Rover club trip this summer. We've only got two rigs and a couple more would be great. We're calling it the hot spring tour as there are a lot of great hot springs. We'll probably cross a couple of streams and just not sure what we'll get into. Contact me at anthonywerre@gmail.com.

It has a blue bed now too, someday I'll paint the thing. How rough are the trails at browns camp? I don't even have lockers or even limited slip, and I can barely use my front driveline as I badly need a new ujoint.
I should really replace the missing bolts on my driver's side engine mount before I go anywhere too

My favorite trip was in Klamath Falls playin around on some horrible snow covered logging roads. I think we were attempting to get to Diamond Lake? Sound familiar to anyone? Anyway, Myself (with stock everything, tires included) Jeep Wrangler, and a custom 91 F-250 diesel. I was the only one who didn't get stuck and was labeled the official tow vehicle for that trip. Good times.
Just finished my HG project. Crawling on the garage floor looking around, the bottom of my truck is still covered in that damn red clay. And that was 5 years ago.
Now I'm living in CO and haven't left the pavement in over a year. UGH.
