Another day trip planned East Tennessee

Well All Terrian Justin and I went on an easy 3 hour run last weekend.
They both agree that we should "kick it up a notch" as Emeril would say

So We're gonna hit it again, this time start earlier on Saturady Nov. the 4th
Some young people (college age) are going too.

If anyone in the area want to go just let me know and I'll guide you in
Also can talk about lodging arrangements if you plan on coming the night before

we'll have a cook out after the run and shoot some clays if we get back in time....MAN the colors are amazing and the cool weather make you're rig run cool and NO BUGS so come on down

We wheel just north of Cookeville, TN in Overton Co. Looked like lots of trails in the area when we went last time...

I'm pretty sure I should be able to go this day. Espeically if I get to go vote early this weekend. I'll double check.

Probably not, unless you're just looking for a good road trip.

Saweet!

Glad to hear you can come, Bob! Justin already had commitments for the weekend so we will need more peoples. Do you have a camera? Justin was cameraman last time and I don't have one.

Know anyone else that may want to come out?

Can't wait!

Sorry, I couldn't make the last run you guys had, must've missed the post. If you guys "kick it up" at all, I probably wouldn't be able to run it without a trail rig, All I have is my 04 PreRunner. I would love to ride along, but can't make this one, have some backpacking trip planned up around Helen. Should be fun.

Thx All tarrain and Bob for hosting I'm on the road for 3 days "THX Mr. Manneta"

Glade to see some interest This is prime time we'll all be remebering this trip around January

I'm going up and do some grooming ie limb cutting and maping, timing trails, want to sticke a balance between those that want easy stuff ( no body damage)and those with more of an adventures soul there is about 5 hours of easy trails and three "so far" challenging sections hard hills... check back Sunday evening for a better trail report.

Also keep in mind I want to do this to have a meet and greet. So we can have a active group, We'll plan other runs hopefully to Tellico, Windrock, Harlen etc. I'm planning on a cookout (on me) burgers, dogs, shrimp, mrooms, etc. and shooting some clays (on me) and a cooler of Beer

Sounds like a plan, It'll be nice to finally have some other people to wheel with. I never get to go half the time because I haven't had anyone to go with the past couple years.

Like I said, I've got about 45 clays that I never get the chance to shoot, so I'll bring them with me. Lookin forward to this.

Are we gonna do it all on saturday?

Ok, 9 am saturday. Jack, PM me with directions if you'd be so kind.

Update on the clays I had....i went shooting saturday afternoon. Turns out I only had 21 of em and we shot all of them, but I did bring my gun and a box of shells.

I'm gonna hopefully have at least one of my friends come along with me, and I've only got one other seat with all the junk in my rear. But someone's welcome to ride if they want.

I'm gonna be thinkin about anything I need to do for prep. If anybody knows of anything we need, let me know. I'll see if I can pick it up.
