I can be the trail leader if we go there. i'd love that!

I got to make some phone calls on how about ya get there and such and get what # trails i went on there. it is alot like tellico in that there is pretty much all rocks except you go up a running river to add to the the factor. Lots of fun and if ya pick the wrong line you'll really be screwed here!!!!!

i got some pics of the rock garden i'll post.

Leon and I got packed up and left Crawfords around 12:00 - It rained off and on all morning so eveything was wet and had to be set back up when I got home. GREAT TRIP - I'm sorry that I missed Saturday morning because of the headache but once it started raining and then I seen all the damage - I was glad that I stayed behind with the girls. We had a good day at the camp. Leon had a blast and can not wait to go again.

Great meeting everyone and I love the friendship. This whole group is amazing. Thanks for the memories - best trip yet despite the rain !

Well due to the rain I had to open up the camper today and let the tenting dry out, but it's all good now. Also, someone got one of my chairs by mistake, no problem. I also picked up 2 folding chairs that were left there if anyone want's to claim them. One is green with a grey stripe and one is a black Cabela's chair.

I haven't unloaded yet Brett, so I probably have it! I left at 1:15 am in the morning, and the chair I got looked like mine, and it's probably yours. Mine was green with some sort of stripe, so that's probably mine! I told you your would dissappear mysteriously! J/K! I'll find out probably tomorrow when I begin to unload everything.

Yeah, I saw the blue one was broke, didn't really pay attention if the black one was broke or not. I'll just hang on to it, and if you're at the next event I'll bring it.

I got the blue one - legs tied with string and arm rest thread pulled out.
It was leaning on the table when I started to pull out. I throwed it in the
trailer. I've already got it fixed - so fight me for it !!!!!!
You can have it back if you want it.

That was a joke, but it is kind of funny I walked off with the wrong one, that's for sure! I'm sure I'll see you soon to swap back.

here is what one guy from the NC4x4 board said about schoolbus

"we ran slick rock in the rain saturday night. its way killer. lower 2 was lower 2. the ledge being gone didnt make it any easier for me. i ended up going way right. like my right front tire was 6 feet in the air. school bus is nasty. i would say it has lines that make lower 2 look like total weak sauce."

All you guys that tried it...... my hats off to you, This guy was in a totally built buggy!!!!!

IT blows my mind what some people say about trails. Schoolbus was totally doable in our rigs if it had stayed dry. With it being wet, it's definitely a place for some good damage, but it still might be doable with enough skinny pedal. I personally didn't attempt to go up it, but after running the trail from the base od guardrail to the top of schoolbus and down, there's not much I would try there again, except maybe heli pad. It's all doable, in my opinion. I'm sure Mark and the rest of the guys that attempted it would agree that under the right conditions it's definitely a doable trail, even though it is steep as hell and the damn roots are in the prime locations to bust windows. I'm going to do it sometime in the near future, and I think I'll make it all except for Heli pad. I've seen lower 2 a while back, and it's rough as hell compared to schoolbus and slickrock, so I have no idea where this guy comes up with his trail descriptions. He might have made a mistake and meant upper 2, which I think is comparable to the trails we ran this weekend.

I agree... definitely doable dry, though with a good chance of carnage. One spot in particular just past the middle rock section, about 3/4 the way up, looked like it was begging for some window breakage, even when dry. All I know is that when it got wet, traction was a rare commodity. You could hardly walk it, let alone drive up it. It ate my driveshaft in short order. Thankfully Marc was the voice of reason, and saved me any more damage.

That being said, I WILL one day conquer Schoolbus.
