I Def. Want to camp that night, and possible the next night with Kirk from TTORA. The more camping the better. Can we have fires or stove out there?

We'll have some better answers to the camping spots after this weekend's hike. I say fires are okay but I'm not the BLM. I would keep them to a minimum and you should be fine. Now you're making me want to camp out there as well. AS for the smugglers - someone (aka MIKEY) needs to bring a firearm to secure the perimeter. HEHE

I was thinking of holstering my Sig 226 for the hike. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it... well see

Mikey you heading out that afternoon? If so could I catch a ride?

Thanks Mikey, Ill give you a call later this week.

I'm still down for the hike, but I might have to cancel on the run, a friend of mine is coming back from the sandbox and a tentative Vegas trip is in the works for that weekend. I'll keep you guys posted.

I'm heading out of EL Cajon @ 2:30. MIkey might not have his cable hooked up in the new pad so you might want to call him. He said he has room for 4. Where are you coming from?

That trail is a drivetrain eater. There are a number of waterfalls, but not your normal slick rock/rounded rock...these are jagged.

I dont think many of our trucks can make it without getting major damage..

This is the first waterfall going down...the picture makes it look easy

The next waterfall is worse
