It' a 87 carbed single cab long bed 2wd 5 speed. It' a light tan/cream color
the odometer shows like 162k but it has like 170k. The PO swapped the cluster for some reason.
Pros:
All new fluids
Valve job on head like 300 miles ago
great hot compression-180 across all 4
decent life on tires
new oem head gasket and I didn't cheap out on the timing stuff. Ordered parts from some known place from Oregon but don't remember the name
all new brake hoses, new kyb shocks, new radiator hoses, new vac lines, ngk plug wires and plugs
cons:
idles at 1600 but drives great
sometimes hard to put in 1st gear
bench seat that' a little dirty
vinyl carpet/mat worn torn on driver side floor
crack on dash
paint isn't glossy
bed has no liner and has a small 1" diameter rust hole near cab wall
I have some people intrested but I don' know what price to say

I think you'd be lucky to get $1500 with its issues

I took that picture with my phone. I was taking a pic of my other car and the truck was in the background.
that dent you see is the pinch weld smashed up I think. Unfortunately the rear does sag.
I don' have a picture of how it looked before I began to work on it but this truck had a hard life before me with the PO.
it had.
Blown HG, severe rot on the brake hoses, air shocks in the rear but they were too big and rebar was welded to the truck for the bottom mount for them and one of the rebar's weld broke off so the air shock was just hanging by the top mount, bucket seats from I don' even know what car were screwed down using sheet metal screws for both seats, the two rear mounting points for the driver sde driver side seat were welded to the floor pan half ass, the idle mixture screw was leaned out to lower the idle to 800, broken plastic timing guide and the list goes on lol
it was a gift to me and I knew it needed work but DAMN. I'll ask 1500 for it. Thanks guys

With that extra info I'd say you'd be lucky to get $1500, even being located in CA where everything tends to be more expensive. If I were you I'd consider looking into Cash For Clunkers, you may get more $ than trying to sell it private party.

I've advised a few people on some $1500-2000 trucks in the last two years and they were in significantly better condition.

you need to post better pictures and moving this to the correct section

you mentioned rebar(which is a highly soft easy to bend by hand, worked construction for 15 years) shock mounts and the other info you gave I would say $800'ish

The rebar was only a idiotic addition by the PO for the air shocks. I removed it and now the new rear shocks are on the correct mounts.
I'll problaby just keep it, paint it and get new rear leaf springs. For the carb replacement I'll check out some place i saw online that rebuilds stock carbs.
thanks for the help guys

I can imagine.....
the idiot PO made a bed rack out of some angle iron and it was secured to the bed by some very small sheet metal screws but the worst part is when I was taking off the rack with my son, one of the corner welds just separated! This guy (my mother in law's bf) needs to learn how to weld and stop working on cars
