Fair price for 99 limited 4runner
To make a long story short I sold my 98 sr5 4runner six months ago for $7,400 and bought a car to get better gas mileage but I now miss my 4runner and am looking at buying a 4runner. The one I like which is similar to the one I had before except it wasn't outfitted with as many upgrades. Is 11,650 a fair price for this truck with the issues?
1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4 - $11650
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Very clean and well maintained - drives exceptionally nice.
Every bell & whistle available from the factory: E-Locker, Leather, Climate control, full power (including driver/passenger power seats, lumbar support, pwr. sunroof, heated mirrors, etc.), tilt, 163K miles. Over $8K in aftermarket (list below - mostly bolt-ons) very tastefully done.

1" Diff Drop 50
Full Matt treatment 300

New in the last year
Battery
Brakes (all 4 corners)
Starter
Mass Air Flow Sensor
Front end bushing
New alignment w/ tires
Rear axle seals
Rear O2 Sensor
Issues;
Neither affect drivability, really just minor nuisances, but I can have both items addressed by the dealer if the buyer requires it to close (would need deposit & full selling price).
Check engine light is currently on
Truck runs like a champ, however the computer really doesn't like the high flow combination of the K&N intake and the Magnaflow cat & muffler (keeps throwing lean codes). It will clear when reset, and stay off for some time (just passed emissions last month), however; despite the new MAF & O2 sensors it will eventually come back on. Could be a vacuum leak?
Fuel gauge is finicky
99 was the first year Toyota went away from dual sending units in the tank, and went to an integrated circuit in the dash. This circuit is bad and needs to be replaced to be 100% accurate, all the time (local dealer quoted $400 for this repair). It's accurate when you first turn the truck on, however; it will act up (show full when empty, empty when full) when driving. I've always monitored mileage (odometer & trip computer are not affected & fully functional) at tank fill up, so it's never been an issue for me.
