1984 nissan? any ideas?

alright guys ive had this opprunity literally fall in my lap, if this is in the wrong section go ahead and move it, my neighbor wants to sell his 1985 nissan pickup, its a 5 speed 4wd with 109k miles and its been taken care of, he only wants 1000$ for it so heres my question, thought about building a crawler with me and my dad, could we use a toyota soild axle to SAS it? or is the t-case a driver side drop? i never looked under neither, its got the z24 motor in it and runs great, any ideas guys? ill try and post pics as soon as possible, give me ideas on the possiblities of this rig!

If the Nissan drops on the passenger side I can't see why you wouldnt be able to use a yota front axel.
