Finally picked up a '86 4Runner 4wd 22RE 5spd. It's not the prettiest, or the ugliest. But runs good, body is good, and good price. So I'm ready to join the fun. Now where is it at?

Mikesnyhere@hotmail.com ,90 4r ,31s lunchbox lockers fore and aft in 488s ,thinking cleghorn run tomorrow ,nice easy not too far from anaheim.hope there are still a few challenging spots left open.alot of the bypass stuff can be done in a stock 4x4. If anything looks too tuff stick to the access road...i wish I could fit a full size dirtbike in my 4runner....hmm compress the suspension maybe ...take the wheels off too

John, Jarhead with an 82 4x4 short bed and a 98 4runner 4x4. 82 is up and down for trails as I keep trying to repair/mod things. Currently down for 600 in surgery to a lot of different stuff. You can pm me here and I will get back to ya. Looking for some 33" tires in the area for either 15 or 16" rims. I found out I have 5.29 in the gears front and back recently and I've been running 30" tires.....fml. I've done a few trails with my 98 4runner but so far the 82 hasn't seen much due to front driveline angle. I'm working on adding my second case and rebuilding the second case. Taking longer than expected.

Oh yeah I've just got a wife. Usually she doesn't come wheeling with me though.

 

Hey guys.. Names Brett I live in the San Fernando Valley (Burbank to be specific) I wheel quite often with some buddies, some local... some further. We do try and get out to as many events as possible.

I wheel/ daily drive an 83 toyota p/u with dual cases 4.7 gears in rear case on 35's also I'm fairly active on another site http://drive.cityslicker4x4.com/events/90487912/ we get together at least once a month to decide on some trails to hit in the upcoming weekends, we're definitely growing and are always looking for cool people to have join so if your local enough come out and grab a bite and meet some fellow wheelers this upcoming tues night..
