Not a bad idea on the hummer wheels.

No to the 98.

Where the hell am i going to get some 6lug centers for the hummer wheels. I thought about cutting out the centers of a 5lug 16.5" rim, welding in a new center and drilling it for a 6lug....

Your best bet is probably going to be wheel spacers with an 8 lug pattern on the wheel side. I'd go as thin as possible though to minimize leverage on the ball joints and steering components.

I'm not sure when I'll be down yet. Still talking to my woman trying to get her to come. She's taking the ACT that Saturday, so I'm trying to get her to drive the hour it takes to get to Cass when she gets out at noon.

Will let you know when I know more.

Truck is almost fixed.... just need some front brake pads, a brake bleed, and some other little stuff....

axle came out alright, drilled and tapped the replacement before it went in so when it breaks it will be easier to fix. Also fixed the bearing/seals/water issues I was having (hopefully....) got 3 new bearings and new seals.

well i did. it has 4wd now, but no brakes. (no front calipers and no brake fluid)... makes it kinda fun to drive. Reverse is the brakes for going forward and 1st is the brakes for going backwards...

hope to have it all better by next week.

Sounds like me driving the Scout. You should have seen that thing go flying off the trailer last week when I unloaded it (with the 1/2 ton of crap still packed in the back). Scout works better though because 1st and R are inline... making the Toyota dogleg takes a little more time.

Hell, I don't even have the trailer cleaned off yet. Rode along with Josh this weekend. I must be bad luck or something because he pulled off his first flop about 15 minutes into the trip.

The worst part is I can't even clean my trailer off because I don't have anywhere to put the stuff. I'm about 500 ft^2 of car parts storage space short of what I had in OK. Looks like I'll be throwing up a garden shed to house the lawnmowers and Toyota parts. There's another $500 I really didn't want to spend.

And being NY... I should probably get the cold temperature starting problem on the crawler fixed so we can do some snow wheeling. Got any cold start valves for a 3.0 laying around?

I'm PUMPED!

We went down there this weekend and checked it all out and I'm so stoked! I'm hoping I can get that Friday off so we can head down really early and get our campsite all laid out and ready to go.

Possibly bringing the Taco. We took it this weekend and got it dirty...ACTUALLY dirty, not just water spotted, hahaha.

Anthony and I might possibly have new 4wheelers by then...it's a long story but we'll see.
