I'm contemplating changing directions with my project and am thinking about selling or trading my 87 4Runner. It would be a rolling chassis, no motor, no trans, no t-case. It would still have the lunchbox locked 4.88 front, the chevy spung toyota rear, but with a 4.10 open 3rd.... I'd consider letting the 4.88 detroit locked 3rd built by marlin go with it, but add 500ish for it... (everything is still up in the air, so all is subject to change come deal making time). It would have the top, complete interior including my leather seats, and my nice stereo. (pioneer headunit, fosgate 4-channel amp, alpine speakers). The truck is clearance properly for 37"s with 4" of lift. The floorpans were tig'd all back together with good steel and full seam welds (no spot welding). The rears were just spotwelded, but any gaps were filled with new steel. With the IFS front and chevy'd rear at full flex any direction there is NO rubbing. The interior was also properly modified so that the modifcations to the floorpan arent noticable at all. From the inside of the truck you cannot tell it had several inches removed. The truck will also come with the CB system installed in it. Tires and wheels will just be white steel rims with fair tires. I might throw in the alum rims and the 37"s I have for an additional 600 or so. Also, if you buy the truck, I could add a 85 solid axle to help start the SAS process for a little more... Another added bonus is the truck's AC blows COLD, and during the motor removal I didnt break any of the connections, which means its still good to go! Not too firm on an overall price yet, just trying to see who might be interested and for how much. PM me with any offers, or post up any questions.
