VA4ROC - Sign In

Lets get a count of the Virginia 4Runner owners and see if we can set-up a VA4ROC Chapter.

As long as I can do it on my schedule I can do the website, but can't host except on free site.

BTW, just saw a seemingly intact set of 6 lug disks with brake pads in plastic bags at my apt complex, anybody out there just upgrade in Oakton?

Hi fellas!

Sure thing, put my name in also. Been looking forward to joining/starting an owner's group up here for a while now.

Just a suggestion for a first meeting location......

McKeever's Pub in McLean (center of town off on Old Dominion Rd.). Great pub that I know well....really well. : ) As well as, there's a sizable parking lot behind the building that's part of a medium sized shopping plaza....so there's plenty of space for a gathering of the vehicles.

Regards,

Sean

Sean,

Welcome to yotatech. I'm not familiar with McKeever's, but if there's parking, that's the place to go!

Have any pics of your 4Runners?

Matt

Sounds good, when should we get together? Weekdays I can make it (depending where we meet) after 7:30 pm and weekends are pretty flexible.

Pretty much any weekend evening after 5pm should work for me. I commute between Mclean and Manassas, so anything along I66 or near Tysons will be cool.

How's this? Original was on white background so it's not perfect around the edges...

dajabr,
Nice work. Is there anyway of during the text "4Runner Owners Club" and "4ROC" in white letters? With our smoked glass, the black letters will get "lost" against the dark glass on the rear or side windows. I think white letters would stand out better. Any thoughts?

I can't take all the credit, Gene did the main graphic and we are all likely to just customize his design so all the chapters are uniform. I just put "Virginia" in there, and took out www.4roc.com
Here's my idea for the site, it's a big screen shot so might take a sec to DL...

Are weekends better for you guys? Depending on where people are driving from, maybe meeting somewhere in Fairfax or Chantilly would be better.

I know of an Anita's Mexican Restaurant in Chantilly at the intersection of Walney Road and Route 50. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Anita's Mexican Restaurant
13921 Lee Jackson Highway
Chantilly

Couldn't post a Mapquest image.

Weekends are real bad for me right now. We have a baby on the way, so if we're not traveling to see relatives, we're working around the house.

Hey, we have our Chapter sub forum. Shall we adjourn there, move this conversation to the study and consider these topics over cigars and brandy?
