Off-Road or Not

Greetings!

I have something that I think we should all consider and debate.

The title of this forum is 4RORA, which stands for 4Runner Off-Roader's Association or 4Runner Off-Road Associtaion. (Still undecided.)

For me, this is fine because I bought a 4Runner with 4 wheeling in mind. But I know that many of the fine members of the 4Runner world are not off-roaders. I think it is extremely important to lay down the distiction right off the bat.

Are we to create a 4Runner Off-Road association or a 4Runner Association - or both? Should we be laying the foundation so that others may do as they please?

Thoughts?

I kind of like "4Runner Association" as this will include more.
We have groups such as the TLCA that are mainly for off roading only.

Even when I had my 2WD '79 Toy, I treated it like a 4WD.
I took it all over old abandoned logging roads and trails.

I am sure there will be plenty of opinions on this, but I'd like to see more 4Runners included, and not shut out.

I agree with you 100%. I don't care much for exclusive organizations. Again, this is something that will need to be addressed in the charter.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

Gene I agree with you and Corey. Just make it an association. That way maybe we could convince some of the members to take their vehicles offroad, or let them ride with someone else. This way they could see what their vehicle would be capable of.

Then "4RORA" no longer works.

We had better come up with a snappy name then.

4Runner Owners Association? 4OA (pronounced "fhoa") Heh-heh.
CLUB 4Runner - "C4"

We need input so the design work can begin!

4Runner Association "4A" = FORAY is something I have taken a liking to!
