Tread Lightly!’s New Online Awareness Course Goes Live

Received today in my inbox.
The course has sound, so you may wanna turn up your speakers or headphone if you are at work.

The highly anticipated Tread Lightly!(R) Awareness Course is now live and available online.
Anyone who goes ATV riding, mountain biking, snowmobiling, or owns a four wheel drive vehicle or a personal watercraft should take this course!
Land and water managers are also encouraged to use it in their educational programs.

The free 30-minute interactive course covers all the essential outdoor ethics. It combines flash animation, audio voice-overs, hypothetical scenarios and quick quizzes to make a well-rounded, entertaining learning tool.

Thumbs up

The best part is....
the certificate at the end!

I guess the biggest aspect of which I was unaware, is the idea of looking for noxious weeds, washing equipment to avoid spreading them, and notifying officials of any sightings.

One more reason to stop by that Ranger Station this weekend.

You should make going through the tread lightly program a requirement for anyone wanting to attend YotaTech trips. I know, tuff to enforece. Maybe have people have to print and mail in or bring a copy to the run.,.... This program and the following of it our key. Otherwise we will all have our rigs but no where to take them soon.

Pretty cool...I took the course. I wish it were a little more difficult though.

Anyone catch this photo?

If I'm not mistaken, that's Westy and Ben in Martinez Canyon, AZ.

See thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...unner+martinez

Isn't that the same pic, but flipped? I wonder how/where TL got that pic? Do you think TL reads our board?

Yes, Tread Lightly reads the board here.
They were quite impressed with the concern we have here on protecting our trails.

Wow - Thats cool. Thanks for the find Jim. That is both Ben and I @ Martinez last year and yes the picture is also in the Yotatech calendar. I'm not sure how they got the picture..?? Yes they also flipped/chopped it. It's too small to really see any details though.
