I am back.
WOW, what a unit!
I also opted (talked into it) for the Pioneer backup camera.
Mounted to the back of the bumper, and it works great.
This unit is way more powerful than the stock FJammer headunit.
Much more bass, but the stock speakers will have to go at a later date.
We punched in my home address from the stereo shop, and the voice commands were dead on to get me back home, very impressed.
I like how it mutes the radio/iPod playback when she cuts into to command you to turn.
I will update my mods thread in this section at a later date with pics.
Overall very nice unit.

DId not get a picture, I forgot to take the digicam to the shop.
I printed out a picture of another install I saw of the antenna up where the right dash speaker goes, and they put it there.
So far it is working great.

Not sure how many satellites I am picking up, but they told me you need to hit at least three I think to get a good lock?
There is a way to check it on the screen, but I have not read that part of the manual yet where to check.
Man this thing can put out some bass with the stock speakers.
I have the loudness setting set to low of the three option, and the EQ is set to Powerful, and the Sound Stage is set to studio.
It is almost overpowering at that setting.
I may have to take the Sound Stage setting off completely with the factory speakers.
What did you set all of your sound adjustments at?

Have them retry the GPS antenna again, might be worth a shot.
Just for kicks, I keyed in my work address here yesterday, and had it plot the route on the way in this morning.
I used a different map view, the one called drivers view.
Wow, it shows you driving on the road and the map changes for the curves in the road and shows all upcoming intersections, pretty coo.
Before that I had it set onto standard map view.
This is going to be great finding new places, as I have a tendency to get lost very easily.
I also tried out a DVD for the first time yesterday too.
Put one in for just a few minutes to see how it worked.
With the sound stage set to theater it sounded and looked fantastic.
Not that I plan on watching a whole movie in the rig, but nice to know it works good if the need arises.

Just an update on the nav.
I was never one in the past to ever want one of these.
But beleive me, it is so nice to not mess with a map or have to relook at it when trying to find a place.
The voice directions are dead on, and have already helped me a few times trying to find a few business locations I have had to drive to.
Very usable item, I must admit.
