Just saw an FJ Cruiser!
Today on my way home I was riding through town and I spotted a guy in the FJ Cruiser across the tracks at an auto parts store. This is the 1st time I have seen one in person and I must say it looks way better than I thought. Almost like 4runner but a little more retro. By the time I made a u-turn the guy was pulling out of the lot. I'm thinking about making the FJ my 1st new car purchase. Anybody else see these beast driving around your town?

Haven't seen one here, but my wife noticed that dealers are starting to list them on autotrader already. Do you think they are listing them while they are still on the boat?

Well, just got off the tele with my sister, and she knows a little about them.
I must admit, I have been way to busy to follow any of the FJ threads here.
She heard they will be cheaper than a Taco or a new 4Runner, perhaps around $22K, and she thinks I should dump the troubled rig.
If so, I think I may be putting a down payment on one.
I have $20K into my 4Runner now, and the engine is shot.
I have already been told it will cost between $4K and $6K to slip a new on there, and also there is more that needs to be done to the rig, at least $2K or more.
If I can get into an FJ fairly cheap, I may go for it.
I do not even know if they have a rear locker or not.
Just been to busy to even read up on them.
Guess I will go down to my local dealer when a batch arrives.
