FJ - Doorless thread

I don't yet own an FJ, but would love to do this. Here's my pics, anybody done this or have any doorless FJ info... post away!

I guess I don't mind any of those. Though mud and rocks can be cleaned out easily since it's a rubber floor. I no longer go crazy offroading anyway so this would be more for the "open air" thing.

why dont you try making some like removable doors.. like when your out on a trail you can take them off,

when your in the city, put them back on?

Can do without everything except the speakers. Last time I did this on my 4r the speakers were in the dash. not so with the FJ.

Have a garage. Though theft is same with new jeep with removable doors, just gotta take precautions. More likely someone would steal something inside, just don't leave anything out. Here's the version from the old trucks, note the mirror attached to the tube...

Yeah, crap. I suppose some kindof quick connect speaker can be plugged into place, but that's more money, more fabrication, it would have to go on the floor, or maybe can be built into the tube door. Hmmmm... Will ponder this.
