Austin, I will not be doing any off roading until I have 3K miles or better under the belt.
This FJ is a big ticket item for me, and I want it to last a very long time.
Gonna break it in right.
Yeah, I will take it up to Greenwater and run some logging roads with it a month or so out from now, but it is going to be babied for awhile.
People tend to do that when they can afford only one vehicle

Corey, you do not want to see the damage caused to this guy's yellow FJ on a TTORA Rubicon run...seeing that made me wince.

Oh believe me, I have seen the damge to the yellow one.
I posted it here somewhere.
His fault was taking the wrong lines, bad spotters, and getting in over his head.
The Rubicon can be done with his rig, but he took the wrong routes.

They did fine on the Rubi.
Vids of the Rubicon are at www.toyota.com/fjcruiser
Nate, my rig has been invoiced, and is out of Toyotas hands now.
It is up to the trucking company.
If they have a planned Seattle run for Saturday, I will see it.
If not, it should be on the Monday run.

Trade ya wheels there Will
Still undecided on tires.
I know your 285s rub, but your Mohaves may stick out a little more.
I have been reading 285s might be fine with the stock rims which I plan on running.
Les Schwab can not get the Coopers I want in a 265x70x17, only a 285x70x17.
Not sure why.
Big O can get them in a 265, but I prefer to use Les Schwab.
Been dealing with them for over 20 years.

Well, I'd go 285 regardless. There's only minor trimming that needs to be done to make them fit. I reduced the rubbing dramatically just by cutting some of the fender liner. A little bit of grinding on the body mount and they'll never rub. I probably won't do that since I'm lifting it anyway.
