Don't care for the street rims (they remind me of a cheesey cowboy belt buckle) and tires but it does look good in black but the cops wouldn't be too happy with the blacked out lights and markers.

Needs some Nitto Mud Grapplers to make it look perfect.

That looks terrible.
Way too cheap looking.

If they had just painted the bumper flaring black and the roof black it would have been perfect.

i like it seeing how my 4runner looks the same but ya, why leave the rear emblem? and why not black out those cheezy red reflectors? but black out the tail lights? forgot the third brake light too? ya, it would look better on diff tires and take off that step bar. the rims arent the best either... i like em but a little cheezy and i see too many tahoes and 'lades on them in seattle.

Not my cup of either.
It would be good for a show truck I guess.
But everything blacked out is just weird to the eyes.

I prefer performance before looks. Is it possible to "rice" out an FJ?

Sure, I guess you could get some stick on chrome pillars and chrome door trim from autozone, a bolt on spoiler, some chrome Euro tail lights, some orange stick on flames, a body kit(if they make one), and a 8 million color LED underglow kit... lol you can rice out anything..

if there was a website or book that had a definition of "how to make something awesome like an FJ look incredibly stupid and make some people say that makes me sick" this would be the picture beside it. a stock FJ looks 159770080887322000000 times better than that one. my 2pennies

The body is very clean. Subtract the step bars, different wheel/tire combo and add some kind of lift.
