Bumpers on their way!!!

Just got done ordering the exact set of silver bumpers from the AllPro site. I think they have started fading out those pictures for ones of the black that they now only offer. Being that my rig is a sexy black, having an average black bumper would have looked silly. But my rig is finally on it's way to becoming custom. Now I just have to get my 285/70/17 MT ATZ's before I put the bumpers on or it will look funny.

BTW - has anyone fit 285 on the stock height?

Cool, looking forward to the pics.

I hear 285s will fit with no rubbing with the stock wheels, and providing you use ATs, not MT type tires.

With the tires you are getting, you can do the body mount trim to gain room for the 285s.

I am switching over to 285s at a later date, but may get by without the body mount trim due to my lift.

My 285/70-R17 BFG ATs fit at the stock height on the factory alloys with only rare rubbing. Once I lifted that went away entirely. You MTs will probably rub due to the deeper tread.

When I got my 285/75-R16 Cooper STTs on 4" backspace steelies, they rubbed quite a bit, even with the lift and I had to finally spring for the trim.

Just go ahead and get the trim. It is definitely worth it.
