Advantage to being the Designated Driver

On Saturday Night I took a Ladyfriend out for Sushi and a movie.

she finished her Classes for the semester and wanted a few drinks to Celebrate.

Being the scammer I am, I had her drive, then bought her drinks, and conveniently said, "Oh, I should probably drive since you have had drinks" She was more than happy to toss me the keys since I was cracked out on diet pepsi

It was my secret plan to get in the drivers seat of her FJ!

She fell asleep and I had a fair distance to go, so I got to open it up on the freeway a little.

Love the 6 spd, Toyota hit a home run, my only complaint would be the view out the back.

Right up to about there you had me thinking, "I know where this is going," but then you threw a curveball. Good story still. =)

The 4.0 is a pretty peppy engine is it not?

You get use to the rear window.
In fact I never use mine at all hardly.
I use only the side mirrors most of the time.

I totally thought this was going in a NSFW direction. NIce that you got to drive the FJ. I really want to go test drive one of the new Tundras.

Minds out of the gutter gentlemen!

My ma has the 4.0 in her 4runner and I liked it, The FJ seems a little lighter and the 6spd is just sweet. Its pretty cool to hit the gas on the freeway in 6th gear and feel pick-up, unlike the 3.slo. It is a fast truck for sure

Such cool features, I even got to plug in my iPod Nano!

Yeah I don't think I could scam a wheelin trip out of it, this will be a mall FJ This chick was pretty white knuckled the last time I took her on a wheelin trip. So I drifted around a few corners on a dirt superhighway, I didn't see what the big deal was.
