Toyota T100 Fuel Tank Redesign
Does anybody know what the heck happened with the mid 96 redesign on the fuel tank?
Pre 96.5 is p/n 77001-34040
Post 96.5 is p/n 77001-34042
It seems that the older version is much easier to find as an aftermarket replacement.
The part diagram looks the same for each, they both fill from the drivers side etc.
I need the newer part as the bottom of my tank is leaking (I believe it rusted out below the rear "strap")
Id rather replace the unit than trying to repair and I dont want to get stuck with a hefty return shipping bill if I end up ordering the wrong part!
