yes, and should be the same way as on any sec gen 4runner or PU.

big arse bolt toward the back of the door just inside the frame.

i suggest you search "cranked Torsion bars" or T-bars

T100s have torsion bars. To crank them up, lube the heck out of the threaded bolt, hold the nut above the half-moon part with a crescent wrench and turn the head of the bolt with a socket wrench. Be careful if your truck is at all rusty. When I dealt with my lift, my t-bars were unwilling to move and as I turned the bolt the bolt broke sending the t-bar, bolt, and mount up through the floor and into the interior of my cab. Lube, Lube, Lube, then wait and patiently try to turn the adjusting bolt head.
Try over on 4x4wire.com for some pics.

it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. you might as well just get a suspension lift. longer shocks wouldnt help anything because they would compress and would limit your travel. i wouldnt mess with your torsion bars at all.

raise the vehicle when you do the crank up t-bars. that unloads the suspension makes it ALOT easier.

i used a air lift that lifts the entire truck when i did this.. they are just plain worn out.. im going to order some ball joint spacers next week and see if this helps.. i already got a body lift, just waiting on my truck to get out the shop, i wrecked it a week ago, and probably around thanksgivin when i get my bonus from work im plannin on ordering some rims and tires and a fabtech 4inch suspension lift..
