I have 1997 t100 having a problem with 5 gear. Two weeks ago it got stuck in 5 gear, got towed to the house pulled the transmission Tore it apart got it working again work fine on the floor work fine in the truck on I drove the truck got stuck again 5 gear I drove over a speed bump and it came back into neutral so now I drive with 1 through 4, transmission works fine just no 5 gear.... can anyone help me

 

What did you find was binding when you took it apart? Does it get stuck every time it goes into 5th?

The lever that works the That works a shifting rods came out when I pull too hard on 5th gear When it was stuck. I put it back in place, on the floor it worked great, so I put it back in the truck, in the driveway with the clutch depressed shifted fine. So I took it out for a test drive as i drove down my street got in to 5 gear it got stuck again. So when I did a u turn and had to go Through a couple of swales the bouncing back-and-forth and me put pressure on the shifter it came back to neutral. Reverse works fine all the other gears worked fine . Thanks for any help
