98 T100 will not start

Truck is a 98 T100, xcab 4x4 & will not start .. fresh battery .. items that are fed from the fuse panel under the hood ..lights, horn all work , appears that there is no power is getting to the fuse panel in the kick space below the driver .. nothing that is fed from this panel works ... instruments, power windows, wipers etc .. where is the power for this panel fed from & how would I check .. does it originate from the main fuse panel under the hood.

Appreciate any input in solving this problem ... G

Did you check the AM1 or AM2 fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay?

Is this an automatic? Does the drive selector show the proper gear when you shift it? If it doesn't, it's the Safety Start/Park-Neutral switch located on the right side of the transmission. You could replace it or pull and rebuild/clean the contacts.
