'97 T-100 Fuel Pump Inop

6-14-2020......Hi all, newby here with a just acquired 1997 T-100 SR-5 4x4 Xtra-cab with 187K miles, 3.4L V-6 engine and auto trans.
It has not run in about one year or more as the PO had no use for it. There is evidence someone was tinkering on this truck before I bought it.
The battery is dead and cables are off the battery. I troubleshot the truck after installing a new battery as the battery in the truck would not hold a charge. I also removed the alternator and had it tested at the local auto parts store. It tested good and I reinstalled it.
Getting good cranking speed, good spark but no fire. I verified good spark at the spark plugs. Spark plugs are NOT wet with fuel.
The engine will start and run with starting fluid sprayed in the inlet. So it has a fuel supply issue.
I went to replace the fuel filter and was going to pump the old fuel out with the
fuel pump, but the fuel pump is not functioning. New fuel filter installed.
I don't see any specific fuses for the fuel pump, but I see a few EFI relays.

EDIT: 6-19-2020..... The EFI relay tested good & the Fuel Pump relay tested good.
Also I believe there is a fuel pressure regulator, but I doubt that would prevent starting as it is vacuum operated.
All fuses checked good.
I read thru some posts via the SEARCH feature, but nothing covered this issue.
My plan is to replace the fuel pump.

EDIT: 10-23-2020.....finally got back to this T-100. Dropped the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump assembly. It was bad and needed replaced. Replaced all rubber fuel lines and two steel fuel lines that were rusted and crusty. Fuel is now getting to the fuel regulator, however it was missing. I replaced the fuel regulator as my son had borrowed mine for his T100. The truck will start and run, but it is not drivable. Further troubleshooting reveals the Engine Computer (ECU) is shot. Removed it and it smells like typical burned electronics. I am shipping it out for repair/rebuild. I will update in a few weeks when the computer returns from repair.
ECU p/n 89661-0W030, sent to All Computer Resources, 205 N. Flagler Ave., Homestead, Florida 33030. Cost was $675 exchange.

EDIT: 11-13-2020.....Engine Computer came back from the repair shop. Installed the ECU and the truck started right up.
It idles, runs and drives normally.
Decided to replace the timing belt and water pump as the mileage indicates this is overdue.
Timing Belt Kit 24489K, includes timing belt, water pump, tensioner and idler pulley. All changed out without issue.
Also replaced the Crankshaft Sensor as it was the original unit and was now easily accessible.
Also flushed the cooling system and changed the oil & filter.
I figured I would replace the spark plugs & plug wires at this time too.

EDIT: 12-16-2020.....Now that it has been back on the road, it is driving very well but with oil leaking from the right valve cover, aft lower corner.
Took it for a NC State Safety Inspection after replacing several burned out lamps. Passed without issue.
This afternoon, while coming home from the insurance office after picking up my insurance card, the charging system failed.
I replaced the alternator with Car Quest p/n 13671A, charged the battery & tested the charging system. All OK now, except for the oil leak.

EDIT: 12-28-2020.....After collecting all the seals & gaskets, etc, I removed the valve covers and replaced the valve cover seals, spark plug tube seals and bolt grommets. Also replaced the intake gaskets (2) and the throttle body gasket, PCV grommet & PCV valve. The Right Hand valve cover was found to be cracked in the leaking area (aft, lower corner) so I replaced it with a Dorman p/n 264-977 which fit well and appeared to be of good quality. It came with a gasket/seal and the three tube seals installed. The main air intake hose was pretty hard and had some cracks so I replaced it with Toyota p/n 17881-62120, sourced from the local Toyota dealer.
NO LEAKS !! Back in Service again.

EDIT: 1-4-2021......I only took a few photos of the work in progress, parts actually, so I'll post them here.

Thank You.
