96 T100 Speedometer and Odometer

I have a '96 T100, all of a sudden the speedometer and odometer do not work at all. Working fine the day before then nothing. Techometer works fine, drives and shifts into all gears fine, cruise control does not work either tho. Trying to figure out if this is the VSS on the tranny, the speedo cable, or the speed sensor at the dash (combination or speedometer).

Any help would be appreciated!

It's the cable or the driving gear. Do you have a 2WD or 4WD? Different part numbers fer the cable depending on the drive...

Yup, it was the cable, thanks! I have 4wd and was able to get the part at a local salvage yard. Tho the cable I got was about 12" shorter than my existing cable, but it was long enough to install, just didn't quite clip in to all the same clips, but was attached in enough of them to be secure. Was tough to replace but it seems to be working so far. :-)

Thanks for the help!

Wondering if the cable got scorched above the exhaust.
Ordered mine from dealer as nothing else available (dealer only part) $97.00 after tax. Still cheaper than a ticket lol.
Unfortunately the cable froze up and took out the drive gear another dealer only part $40.00.
E-brake cable is smoked also...I will get that later $40 ebay.
