3.4 Liter Headers?

To header or not to header, that is the question? I've read they are great, I've read they are not worth the trouble and expence. I've read that some brands are better because they have 3 bolts for the flanges. I'm really just torn on weather to bite the bullet and invest in these or not. I have the TRD supercharger set up, and am looking to add a 7th injector to rid the engine of the dreaded spark knock that comes with this add on, and it only makes since that with all that fuel and air going in pressurized, that you would want it to exit more better. I've also heard the TRD headers were crap. Any help would be appreciated.

I did the supercharger, headers and fuel upgrades in that order. I noticed after I put the headers on, it actually helped a little with the ping.
I wouldn't suggest it on a normally aspirated engine since they're a PITA to install (*edit*= not sure about the install for a T100 though). Since you're under forced induction and have the fuel upgrades planned, do it. It'll open up the whole system.

TRD headers are alright, they're made by Thorley so you could save some $$ by going with the latter.

Search around though, I'm not the only one with an opinion on this subject.

I would never do headers again. Mine is SC"d with "all the mods" and if I could snap my fingers and switch back to the cast iron manifolds I would. I run the Edelbrock headers (no longer sold and for good reason). My $.02
