Truck Lite LEDs for 1985-89 4Runner

I have been looking into these new 5x7 LEDs. I looked at Truck Lite's website and the measurements they give seem right on with the stock 4Runner headlights. Has anyone tried these? I searched and could only find Cherokees that have tried them so far. I have to be sure before I spend that kind of money. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

They look sweet I can't see a price? But they are plastic, I personally don't like any headlight that is plastic. But they look cool if you get them start a thread with the install and comparison results from old to the new

i think our lights are 6054. easy enough to check at any parts house.
a 5x7 is what it is.
i've had my extra vision beams for over ten years now, i forget part numbers.
make sure you get the new phase 7 not the older phase 6.

Dang, that's a lot of dough.... I thought my e-codes were spendy.

Anyone have personal experience with the e-codes(100/80W bulbs) versus these LEDs?

They look cool but everytime I see a fogged up sun baked new light housing on newer cars I always shy away from anything plastic. Give it a couple more years this LED craze will get cheap like HID's did.

That is true about plastic housings. I have seen some terrible looking ones out there. LED technology has come a long way and it will only be a matter of time until they come down in price.
