hey, i've seen several pickups '90-'94 with a third brake light. my truck (93 ext. cab) has none. wondering if this is a factory installed option or just available on certain models. also, where might i get one?

 

Third brake lights were "standard" on '94 and up. Never an option before that. Go to a junk yard and get one off a '94 or '95 pick-up or 4runner. It won't bolt right up or wire right up but it would be very simple to do.

 

Straight and to the point!

Reg cab and Xcab trucks from 94-95 had them. Before then, they did not. You can also find one off a 94-95 4Runner although they do have a slightly different curvature to them.
