Serious question...dont laugh

1984 toyota pickup , passenger side head light is not working. obviously is a blown headlight...i spent 30 minutes trying to remove the bulb. Talked to my father and he said it could be the type of light where you replace the whole head light , not the bulb. Is this the case? Im unsure and cant drive around here with 1 head light...cops are jerks here.

yes indeed it is. go to your nearest autoparts store and buy a replacement for $12. It will include the entire lens casing and light bulb.

i beleive the headlights are "sealed beam"

intead of changing the bulb, you just replace the whole headlight

around here a sealed beam is about $10 per headlight, and imo sealed beams work wayyy better then modern day headlights

We have heard worse. Like stated above, replace the whole light for cheap. MANY cars and trucks use the same lights, so they are easy to find.
