Rear wiper doesnt work and....

The wiper doesnt work and the window wont go down. Took apart the hatch, there is a click coming from the Blue box (relay?) when i try to put the window down. No sound when i try to go up (it is currently up). A couple weeks ago it would work now and then. Some times when i went over a bump and i push the switch it went down. Then it would go down alittle ways and then quit. When i let off the switch it would go back up on its own. I checked the conections and reconected all of the ones i saw. I made sure i didnt have the window lock on and i tryed my key but it wont turn in the hole.

Im out of ideas. Slang some sugestions at me please! Thanks ahead.

Check to see if rear defrost is out at same time. Memory may need reset to the rear window. If you can get the window to go up at the key switch on the hatch then make it go all the way up. Check defrost/wiper/rear window.

This happens to a lot of 3rd gen 4Runners. See T4R.org or search "rear window" for more details.

Otherwise your symptoms sound like a loose wire, but not sure where.
