Rear cargo lighting in 3rd Gen 4runners?

Is there a cargo light in the real left of the vehicleabout 5 inches off the floor? How does it turn on? It looks like a vent.

if it has a grill that is integrated to the side panel... its a vent.

It is integrated with the panel but i was told that it was a light. What would it be a vent for?

it vents to the outside.... cabin air... usually a hole with a rubber/plastic flap under/behind bumper area

That is to let pressure out when you close the door. If that vent where not there it would be harder to close the doors.
