pro comp lights on toyota switch

i searched and didn't find anything for how to hook up pro comp lights. they didn't really come with a harness. I hooked them up, and they turn on, but the light switch doesn't turn on when the lights are on. it doesnt turn on at all, unless i ground the other connector sticking out of the switch. i think i need a relay, but thats were it gets confusing. im connecting it to a toyota oem switch with 3 connectors on it. if someone has a diagram, or can explain what i need, that would be great. thanks everyone

You need to ground that other connector. Just like any other light, the switch needs a positive and negative current. It gets its positive from the wire running to the switch, but needs negative. Just ground it anywhere metal. I'd put the fuse for the pro comp lights BEFORE the switch, that way it will work for the pro-comp lights and for the light in the switch.

you definitely need a relay (for the lights) , you will fry that switch if you are running both lights through it, follow that picture that was linked by Elton

also, the way to plug the wires in the toyota switch is different that the way you would hook up the hella switch...From top of switch to bottom (top being the side that has the light, bottom being the side with the little fog symbol) it would be blue, green in the middle, yellow on the bottom.
