One of those "What is this connector" questions...
'86 22RE. It looked like rats had gotten to the wires to this connector, it's in bad shape. It plugs into the lower intake manifold, towards the front (front meaning near cylinder intake port #1)..can someone tell me A: what is the function of this, and B: where would I find another connector?

It's green right?
Coolant temp sender plug. To the right of the intake as you face the motor. It's important to have for proper ECU/emissions during engine warmup. There is a brown plug coming off the same loom, which connects to teh sender next to it.

It's not the coolant unit, I've already replaced that one because it was rotten literally. LOL. If you are standing on the pass side, reach under the upper manifold, heading towards the engine, it's in there. It's attached to the lower manifold its not any of the sensors you can see from the front.

Ok man, it's the IAC connector. I took it off and there it was. I got some female spades, put them into the connectors inside of the iac, then epoxied them in. Good to go!!
