No power/memory without key in ignition
Hi there, I am having a strange problem with my 02 Sequoia. It started blowing the 7.5A rad2 fuse on our last outing. I thought this was because my kids had too many DVD players etc plugged in to the outlets. Yesterday, I shut the truck off and the radio kept running with the key out of the ignition? Now, the truck has no power or memory after the ignition is turned to off. In other words, systems like the window locks, trip odometers, security system, and imobilizer have no power when the key is removed. Needless to say this makes locking the doors nearly impossible until this gets fixed. Has anyone ever seen this? I hope it is a fuse or relay and not the actual ignition switch. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

That could be, but several other electrical devices are acting up at the same time. The 12v power outlets remain alive and the "P" light indicating the truck is in Park also remains lit up. There must be a common relay or something that these electrical items flow through that allows or removes power based on ignition?

Just curious is ur dome light still working?
Check all ur fuses sounds like a blown fuse.Ur radio circuit works off the dome light fuse.We get alot of customers come in with similar problems most dont check the easy stuff first like fuses.
