neg. side of coil /3.0 efi
I need to hook a tach up. I don't know where neg. side of coil is .

In the engine compartment next to the diagnostic port there's a smaller port with a rubber cap that says IG-. You can plug it in there, or splice it in at a couple other spots more towards the ignitor itself.

I'm going to check that out . Tach is hooked up now but when I trace the green wire to the firewall I see it go in but other side is all taped up. I can't see where the green wire goes. Might just cut green wire @ tach and rerun it . Not sure what kind of plug I would need?
