lights

I replaced the little dial/handle for the lights. I replaced the whole piece that goes into the steering column cause the headlights would not stay on. Dial was broken, just free spun. Now the high beams don't work, But light do. Any solutions would be helpful. Did I put the damn thing back together wrong.

Thanks 4crawler, but did that. The lever for some reason does not stay in the locked position. Meaning when you push the lever out to the high beam position it comes right back to the standard position. I can see the high beams come when I moved it forward, but just a quick flash. Like I said the lever just snaps back.

Guess you may then need a whole new combo switch assembly then.
