Unhappy knock sensor wiring harness problem

Just put a motor in my 95 4runner, the motor I put in is from a 90 or 91 model. The knock sensor plug from the motor is a single wire circular plug and the plug from the main wiring harness is a two wire oval style plug. Any ideas on how to get around this with out taking apart the motor to replace the sensor and harness???

More details would help. What motor 3.0? 22re? If you have to swap sensors do you have to dissemble the motor? Can't just unscrew it and replace it?
