Hot Ignition Key!!!!!!!!!

'98 taco 4x 4cyl ignition key felt hot to touch this morning after 20m mile drive. Never noticed this before. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance

Dunno... your air vent pointing down towards it and blowing hot air?

do you have the plastic peace over the ignition? if not i dont and the heat comes from the radio and everthing in there. at least for me .

I've nearly burned myself on mine. It get darn hot in the ignition.

i cant say ive ever burt myself but it gets warm. but i no my radio puts out a hell of a lota heat.
